I've heard on several occasions that bar fishing at the foot of Dominion
in Poco is productive. (and I can't think of a better way to recover
from surgery!) G'luck!

Rene, right under the Pitt river bridge anglers fish with fresh big clumps
of roe. Try the mouth of the Coquitlam drifting shrimp or roe in the clean/dirty
water line. If you have a boat go and anhor out there and just drop down
a big clump of roe and wait. There is some big dollies there in the spring.

Its still a little early for the dollies in the pitt.Mid march is usually
when they start to show up.Fish any where on the river and fish on the bottom
with good roe.Caught one last year at richanbauch bar that was at least
10 pounds, when we landed the beast he threw up a load of minnows on me.The
monster was quickly released.Oh ya its also a catch and release fishery

ya i agree last year i did alot of bar fishing the just down from the port
man and at the mouth of the coquitlam...roe or even worms are the ticket...
but if your ableto at the coquitlam the most pruductive thing that ive ever
tried was casting a mepps black fury medium size.. but you have to wait
for the tide to go down low so you can cast from the hidden gravel bar that
appers at low tide... when the fish are around expect 20 fish a day mabey
more and no im not full of s*it.. ive also caught coho in the fall using
this method... u also have to cast a long ways out... just cast right where
the current of the fraser starts. last year i landed a 8 pound doing this!!.
tight lines!!
