Gerry Someone has mentioned to me that there will be a run of "Springs" sometime/somewhere in the month of May. Being the "rookie" that I am, can any one of the "veterans" out there confirm when and where the next run of Springs will be. Many Thanks Gerry

They should start showing in good numbers by the middle of May in the (upper)Fraser and are best fished for from the popular bars that are exposed at this time of year, creek mouths that flow into the fraser are popular spots either float fishing with roe or casting spoons like crocs and kitamats. Otherwise you can try bar fishing with roe in the lower fraser. check regs.

The Best time in Sooke waters (Victoria) really starts in mid May. The runs are already looking promising, as we have been catch-releasing 15+ springs up until last weekend. The winter fishing was the best in years. Check out my report on saltwater area #3 on the reports page. Greg.
