i was just wondering since rubber bubble gum pink worms work so well for
steelies, shouldn't the big live dew worms you can buy in tackle shops
work even better?

Not really-Dew Worms don't have the same enticing action in cold water-they
become quite stiff.
They do work but so do a lot of things-some better than others.
