Sea Run Dollies anyone?

Does anybody know anything about ocean run Dolly Vardens. Today I was fishing down at Cypress Creek with a friend of mine and he happend to catch what looked like a Dolly Varden. I've caught them in rivers before but i have never seen one caught out in the ocean before. Could somebody tell me what it could have been if it wasn't a Dolly.

The Upper Pitt river has sea run dollies.DO not really know if Cypress Creek does though.Ya sure it was a dollie. What did it look like?

I have seen sea-run dollies caught at Ambleside before. They are a beautiful fish. There silver color can throw you off of identifying them but if you look closely you will still be able to see light pink spots and their distinctive large broad head. Was it on a lure or fly??

In response to your question Whaynes, it was a homemade spinner with a yellow body and a silver colorado blade.
