I am 16 years old and love to fish. can someone tell me when is a good time to start fishing for salmon off the shore on the beaches in the Qualicum/Parksville area on Vancouver Island. I go there to fish every thanksgiving but am wondering when you can actually catch salmon fishing that way. Thank you, Husky-G

Well, off th beach is pretty tough. Having a boat is the way I do it. Im not sure how to catch salmon off the beach. Now is a good time, the Coho are around, Chum will be flooded everywhere within a couple of weeks, and even the winter springs are beginnign to show up. (boat needed for them.) |
