The organization known as Peta is short for " Pedophile " because they prey on our children, with false information. Our children, being in the learning stages of their lives, believe a lot of what they are taught and told. When a major organization like Peta comes to their school, they must be preaching the right thing ?? Wrong !!! Without the fishing/hunting community teaching our children the rights and wrongs of our precious sport, we'll fall to organizations like Peta. Teaching starts with kids, teach them well and we'll have these great sports forever more. Brett. P.S. A friend of mine gave me another version of Peta: P - People E - Eating T - Tasty A - Animals

Here is a bit of interesting info: Ron LaForce, president of the United Outdoorsmen, is in the process of having PETA's non profit status in the US taken away. Give 'em hell Ron!

That's a double edged sword Marcel. If they are successful this kind of effort could be directed towards non profit groups that advocate for fishermen and hunters. I don't agree with their message or their methods but PETA has a right to express their opinions, as distasteful as we may find them.

This is a subject that I have mused about before. You're a trout, so what is the best way to "go"? 1) Snatched from the water by talons, torn to shreds, and fed to hungry beaks?! 2) Smacked from the river by a huge paw with claws, torn to shreds and eaten partially alive??!! 3) Swallowed whole and digested alive?? I would prefer a quick piercing, ( not an eye!!) followed by a bonk on the head and lights out!! Just a thought Al
