Fat Albert Spoons....

Cannot seem to find a source for these spoons. I refer to the spoon only..not a completed Gibbs teardrop shaped K-3 wobbler...at highly inflated (5.49) prices for a bit of brass and a hook, I like to assemble my own over the long nights of winter..gets me out of doing the dishes......(well, sometimes, anyway) :-) Worth tackle in america, and that pro-lure fellow in Ontario only have the conventional spoons. Thx.

I posted a similar request for Kitamats, crocs and Kohos. Someone responded by telling me to go and look on a river during low water. Altough I considered the suggestion I decided that it wasn't for me, and like Ken's request I am looking for bulk type, assemble you own type deals.

Isn't there a make your own lure place in Richmond? I think I saw an add a few times in various magazines. Is it called the compleat angler or something? I swear theres such a place, just dont' know the specs.

Ok, I decided to open a magazine, I'm not gonna be lazy tonight, I'm not gonna be lazy tonight, I'm not gonna be lazy tonight..whaoh,
anyways.

Compleat Angler Fishin' Pro Shops.
Make your own, 2500 rod and lure parts.
(604) 879-8033 It doesn't give an address,
but lists a PO box. The post office box is
in Vancouver though, so it is probably
in Vancouver as well.
Hope me getting off of my arse helps.

Scott... will try the compleat angler.... I had heard Rick Wood sold to somebody...and got out of the biz....He had a neato store on Fraser St.

Bert.... I really ought to go visit John and Marianne....Kitimat is only about 3 hours from here....

Cat... will send e-mail. Thanks all..... cheers.

In Canada http://www.luremaking.com/

Rodger on that, Carl.... the pro-lure guy is indeed this cdn site aka luremaking, as per my earlier, (no teardrop spoons here), and the mortac guy's spoons are some kind of stilly model, again not fat albert. :-( Pro lure's prices are pretty good for the other blades, and I may just relent and forget all about the fat alberts. cheers.

I SAW SOME OF THOSE SPOONS AT THE RUSKIN CENTER OFF LOUGHEED HIGHWAY AND 287 STR,
NEXT TO THE STAVE RIVER,ALSO AT DEWDNEY JUNCTION STORE AGAIN ON HIGHWAY 7. THEY WORK VERY GOOD IN DIRTY WATER OR AT THE JUNCTION OF CREEK MOUTH'S ON THE FRASER.
I SAW THEM IN SMITHERS AT MC BIKES THIS FALL WHEN UP MOOSE HUNTING ON THE STIKINE

you can buy these spoons at big pete's tackle in vancouver.

Yes, the *completed* spoons are at the bike shop... but the request was for the spoons only, not the 6.00 completed spoon. Thanks for the report.
