Just purchased a Talon Blank, B112 ML2. This will be my first custom rod (friend is building it for me). Does anybody know anything about this blank? Did I get a good price or did I get ripped off? (I paid about 80 bucks total). Any advice would be appreciated.

I don't know about the price but that will probably be my next rod. I love 'em. I own an 8"6 sage 5 wht. and well it's been broken 3 times. My dad made it for me about 10 years ago, and the next time it breaks I'll probably be buying a talon blank and making my own. It's gonna be a 10" 4wt. Your buying the right rod for sure.
