From what I've seen on this board, jigs aren't all that popular for steelhead around BC. I've had a lot of success using them here in Washington and I'm headed up to fish on Vancouver Island in March. Does anybody out there use jigs? What are your favorite colors? In Canadian parlance jigs are known as 'Rock Magnets', due to their seeming propensity to stick to whatever part of Mother Earth they come in contact with. Yes they are quite effective at times and weigh a person's vest down nicely for those 2 mile bushwacking treks needed to escape the crowds. Hot Pink~Pink/White~Chartreuese are all popular
