Hey everyone, I'm pretty new to fly-fishing, and I keep seeing others out there using strike markers (little orange balls on the end of the leader)... my question is, how effective is it, where do you put them specifically, and what is the major advantage??? Anyone with advice?

.........it is just a smaller version of the float,wich will allow you to fish in differen't depths.......
