are most baitcasters saltwater grade?whats the difference?

About 4 years ago Zebco-the people who make Quantum-moved their manufacturing facility to China.
The slave-like conditions that the labourers in their plant endure to feed their Kids result in a poor product badly made.
Quantum are junk of the lowest order-take it back.

I bought a Quantum Ironman about 2 years ago and find it great to use. It's a little smaller than some but casts really smooth and is easy to use as opposed to some of the larger level winds. I bought my Girlfirend a new Shimano Calcutta 400 series this fall and she was having a tough time with it. I let her use my rod and reel ( we have identical rods) and she loved it. She found it much easier to learn on than the Shimano. I'm not complaining at all because I like the shimano, it's a little smoother casting.

Be comfratble with your reel it'll definately get the job done. My Quantum has taken a hundred big springs and is showing no signs of wear.
