I am going up to Badger lake this weeked and am wondering if anyone has any suggestions on fly patterns that might be successful up there. Any info would be appreciated! Thanks!

# 6-#8 brown darner dragons on the shoals towards the evening..very effective.Try tying some with gold bead chain for the eyes.

Brewer, thanks for the tip! I'll let you know how it goes. I am new to flyfishing and would love to catch a fish on my new flyrod. I don't tie my own flies so would I be able to by this pattern at one of the local flyshops or even at Army and Navy? Can't wait to get up there!

You MUST use brown or green/olive dragons trolled...i have always done very well there...you can expect lots of fish, but not many of great size.. |
