Mike Please someone tell me how to catch a steelhead with Spey rod? What do you use for fly? I think I had enough steelheads with gear this year. |

It's no different than fishing with a single handed rod other than the casting is different. Use a hidensity sink tip and quarter the cast down and across. You have to keep the fly near the river bed.
