I am interested in learning about flyfishing lodges on Van. Isl or the coastal
mainland BC. I live on Nantucket Island, Mass, so I'm not familiar with the flyfishing opportunities out your way. Any thoughts, ideas, suggestions would be appreciated. Clark Whitcomb

Clark, you might try Weigh West Resort, based out of Tofino, on the west coast of Vancouver Island. Their number is 1-800-665-8922. They specialize in salt water fly fishing.

You could also try some river fishing as the rivers are full of salmon in September. The Nitnat has large Chinook and you should be abble to fish the Cowichan for browns and salmon. Cowichan River Lodge - 250-748-7026
