Lohr's Silly Bugger was created by Harold Lohr in 1994 for fishing Steelhead in British Columbia. The fly has produced some impressive results including a 45" Buck taken in 1996 using the Purple Silly Bugger.
A combination of unique material, color and movement come together in a fly that is challenging to tie and fun to fish. The rubber legs along with the marabou tail really give this fly a lot of movement which Harold says is important. The lead eyes help get the fly down to the fish and adds to the fly's look.
