 The resort is located between Tweedsmuir Park and the Itcha Ilgachuz Park (created in 1996). This means that you will be in the centre of some of the most magnificent scenery in the Province of British Columbia.
BC's West Chilcotin offers some of the finest fishing anywhere. Anahim Lake is very productive and ideally suited to fly fishing for rainbow trout. The Upper part of the Dean River flows through Nimpo Lake and Anahim Lake before making its descent to the Pacific. Fly fishing this classified water is a must for every fly fisherman. And, dozens of near by waters offer a wealth of fishing experiences.
Escott Bay resort offers full packages of adventures on request. Packages include lodging accommodations, all meals, boats and motors and guiding services for both fishing and horseback adventures. Return flights from Vancouver can be arranged under the "Lodge Plan".
A full range of accommodations include a chalet which features four bedrooms and is fully serviced. Six other fully serviced units range in size from smaller log cabins to larger two bedroom cottages. Our camping and RV sites offer water and power and there is a sani station. A small play area for kids is located on the back side of the front campground.
Anahim Lake is very productive and lends itself to fly fishing due to the aquatic life with many bays and weed beds. The fish range from ¾ to 2 pounds or larger.
The Upper part of the Dean River flows through Nimpo Lake and Anahim Lake before making its descent to the Pacific. This river is a Class II water and has special restrictions. Fly fishing this stream is a must for every fly fisherman and opens June 16.
