 In 2006, over 425 guests caught over 310 Tyee Chinook over 30 lbs. We didn't break our 2003 record of a 71.4 lb Tyee (see below) and another at 70lbs - the biggest Tyee recorded on the central coast for 2003, but we did catch and/or release more Chinook than ever before. Some of the other "Hall of Fame" Chinook weighed in at 53, 58 and 66 lbs each, 10 Chinook were over 50 lbs, and 5 Coho weighed in over 20 lbs (Trophy fish). Each guest took their limit of Chinook and Coho and released at least 3 times that many. We expect 2007 to be a great year too! |
