| Nicola Valley Outdoor's Interior Fishing Report for Feb. 8th |
It looks like the ice man is sticking around for awhile yet folks.
We are getting reports from the area that ice fishing is still fair most places.
There seems to be 2 or 3 bite periods a day, so patience is a key.
First light and as the sun sets and the light level is fading, and usually a spell or to in the afternoon/late morning.
Go with a buddy and talk about last summer or perhaps a child and have a hot chocolate waiting for your bobber to dip.
Our top baits have been frozen krill, worms and sparkle power bait.
Fly tying for my buddies and I is keeping us busy in the evenings and getting us prepared gor the tout season which is not all that far off.
Get out and have some fun!
