Steve went up tp Marquart last night, walked over to his favourite spot made one cast with a black mini leech and landed a four pound chromer. Feeling that was the pinnacle for the evening he packed his rod and headed home. Not a bad evening. The Jacks are running quite well in the Thompson now. Reports of good catches are coming in. The lower Fraser is fishing well for sockeye for everyone but me. I managed a sunburn on the back of my legs but couldn’t keep one pinned to the beach. Everyone else was getting limits, the fish gods weren’t with me that day. Next time. We are going to try and get out this weekend. Be safe and have fun.
