Princecraft introduces the SVX 27 I/O, with a special Fun Zone area
With more standard features per square inch, Princecraft has built a new luxury vessel that is heads above the competition. The 2009 SVX 27 I/O is truly a pontoon crafted to fit every lifestyle. And, by using only the highest quality of marine-grade 5052-H36 aluminum alloy, Princecraft’s commitment to engineering the finest boats on the water is seen throughout the new SVX 27 I/O. The SVX 27 I/O is available in several 2009 color schemes, including two Special Edition color packages black with black paneling and Apache red with red paneling. It also comes standard with a special graphic package and a monochrome beige interior. In addition, the SVX 27 I/O boasts exceptional performance, luxury and power. Equipped with either a large V6 or V8 engine, ranging from 220 hp to 300 hp, the vessel comes standard with a special Fun Zone area that is perfect for families and includes: a large fiberglass swim platform, rear love seat-style seating, rear speakers, a large pop-up privacy enclosure perfect for changing in-and-out of swimwear, and a stainless steel boarding ladder that makes re-boarding easy for boaters of all ages. Optional additions to the new SVX 27 I/O include a watertight radio remote control, a pop-up ski pole and underwater lights that are ideal for night cruising.

Luxury and comfort are apparent throughout the new SVX 27 I/O. The fiberglass helm, which includes a slide/swivel/recline adjustable captain’s bucket seat, also boasts a stately wood-and-leather steering wheel amidst an easy-to-read instrument panel. Adding to its supreme comfort is a new portable, padded, 9 x 16-inch armrest which features two stainless steel cup holders; prestigious wood-grain inserts; and plastic storage compartments that are vented to allow draining as well as cross circulation to prevent mold and mildew. In addition, all lounge chairs are equipped with rotocast plastic storage compartments, giving boaters the option of packing just about anything on the SVX 27 I/O. Other standard features designed for long days on the water, are a wood-grain, kidney-shaped, stern mounted pedestal snack table that can be used for eating or playing games; a built-in fiberglass galley featuring a draining sink, faucet, and portable freshwater tank; and an optional 12-volt refrigerator. Abundant space can also be found in the optional in-floor ski storage and anchor storage compartments.
When it comes to performance, all Princecraft I/O models come with a “third log” center tube which further enhances the pontoon’s stability and performance, while increasing the load and power capacities. To ensure that every ride is remarkably smooth and dry, engineers have also added an under-deck spray shield, a standard power-steering system and lifting strakes to enhance the performance. Accommodating all musical tastes is easy with the 200-watt M475 Clarion® AM/FM/CD player that is compatible with either satellite radio or MP3/iPod. And, the system also powers four, 6.5-inch diameter waterproof speakers, which are individually protected by strategically placed insert recessions. On the SVX 27 I/O the entire sound system can be operated by remote control.
The SVX Series bow styling features a distinctive railing system that incorporates both painted aluminum tubular and aluminum flat-paneling, as well as upholstered gate panels. A dynamic graphic package and catamaran-like look make the SVX the most appealing vessel on the water. And, the sleek yet functional stainless steel handrails are perfect for anyone who likes powering through the water at full throttle. The bow also houses navigation and docking lights along with two fender racks to keep boat bumpers handy for docking, yet conveniently stowed out of the way of foot traffic.
The entire deck of the new SVX 27 I/O is pressure-treated and covered in plush, new 32-ounce mocha “Magnitude” collection textured carpeting. Moving towards the stern, luxury continues with added loveseat style seating, and a changing room.
