PRINCEVILLE, Quebec, September 1st, 2009 - In response to customer demand, Princecraft Boats has added a larger version in its popular “Sport Series”, the SS 182, to its 2010 line up of more than 40 top-quality aluminum boats. The new Sport 182 joins three other models in this series designed for serious fishing enthusiasts, but also providing versatility for family fun and water sports.

The roomy, 18’ 6’’ SS 182 offers spirited performance from a wide choice of Mercury outboard motors including Optimax and Verado FourStroke versions from 115 to 175 horsepower. The full SS 182 package includes a custom painted single-axle trailer with brakes and swing tongue.

The SS 182 is made of Princecraft’s 5052-H36 marine grade aluminum alloy, the hardest and the strongest in boating, for better performance and long life with minimum maintenance. The boat also features twin hull plating at the chine from mid-ship to stern, and from bow toid-ship, for added durability and performance, plus Princecraft’s exclusive “DRC” (double reverse chine) design for faster planning and stability.

larger version,” said Donald Dubois, president-general manager of Princecraft. “The SS 182
is backed by Princecraft’s 55 years of leadership in the design and construction of aluminum
boats.”

Standard equipment on this new boat includes a carpeted bow mounted trolling motor pad
with 12- or 24-V trolling motor plug and receptacle with wiring harness and jumper, and a 64
L / 17 U.S. gal. SportFlo dual bow livewell with thru-hull drain and insulated lid. Aft and bow
raised casting platforms are carpeted and equipped with a pedestal seat mount floor base.
The rear flip deck converts to bench seating. The SS 182 comes with two pedestal folding
seats that feature no-pinch hinges and are movable to any of the boat’s six floor seat bases.
Special fishing features of the SS 182 include a large lockable rod organizer with 6 rod
tubes, a side panel storage compartment, two storage compartments for deep-cycle
batteries, a bow anchor locker and an ice chest incorporated into the aft casting platform.
The boat’s twin console with No-FeedBackTM steering system has a walk-thru, tinted and
curved, tempered glass windshield with a door and full engine instrumentation. Other
standard equipment includes pressure-treated wood flooring, navigational and interior lights,
electric bilge pump, cup holders and three battery holders, snap fasteners for optional
canvas top, stainless steel bow and stern eyes and four chromed cleats, plus interior holding
handles. The SS 182 has a deep, self-draining engine splash well and a built-in fuel tank with
in-dash gauge.

Options include a ski pylon and stern boarding ladder, a Lowrance® X-50 DS fish/depth finder with water temperature indicator, a 27-inch pedestal post with bicycle seat, choices of stand up high, mooring cover, trailer cover, an AM/FM/CD stereo with iPod controls and SAT Radio Compatible, and vinyl floor covering.

The Sport 182 comes in a choice of blue, red and black exteriors with high-gloss, oven-cured
High Solids urethane paint for long-life beauty with minimum maintenance. Interiors are
monochrome beige with 20-oz. Mica Mist carpet.

Like all Princecraft boats, the new SS 182 model is covered by a transferable lifetime limited
structural warranty with features that add up to the best overall warranty coverage in boating.
The boat’s design and construction is certified by the Canadian Coast Guard and National
Marine Manufacturers Association, and it has flotation that meets the latest Canadian
government and U. S. Coast Guard standards.
