CERRITOS, Calif., Jan. 4, 2007 — Daiwa has introduced a new selection of affordable, effective plugs, crankbaits, jerkbaits and spinnerbaits featuring life-like designs and actions bass and other predatory freshwater game fish simply can’t resist.
With their highly detailed patterns, 3-D eyes and built-in vibration features, Daiwa’s new lures mimic the appearances and movements of frightened or injured baitfish, ringing the dinner bell for species like largemouth, smallmouth, striper and trout. The Daiwa lure series also includes big (five- and six-inch) wooden, double-jointed surface baits, designed to draw an aggressive response from oversized bass, pike and muskie.
All-in-all, Daiwa’s new freshwater lure family features seven different lure types — each available in a variety of fish-catching patterns:
New Daiwa “Dead or Alive” Lures
The side-swimming action of the double-jointed, wooden body, (thanks in part to a side-mounted diving bill), imitates a mortally injured baitfish — an easy target for large freshwater predators. Every Dead or Alive lure also features a spinner buzz blade for extra vibration and splash, realistic 3-D eyes and super sharp hooks.
Additional features include a red Mustad® hook and ball bearing swivel. Daiwa Spinner Baits are available in a variety of colors and two blade styles — Double Willow (DW) or Combination (CB).
