Joined: Feb 2006 Try Owner Aki hooks especially for larger fish such as Giant Trevally,Dorado,Tarpon,Sails and marlin. They are sharp as all get out and they will not break as almost all of the other hooks I have used including Gamagatsu and the hooks you have mentioned do.This is in the 3/0,4/0,5/0,6/0,7/0 sizes.I realize that not many from here will do that kind of fishing but if you ever do; tie your flies with Owner hooks-They cost about a USBuck each but well worth it.

Joined: May 2007 I use Kamasan, I know that they're not the best on the market but their 400 and 405 wet hooks are ideal for smaller nymph patterns such as PTNs and GRHE.

Joined: Sep 2008 Aside form Mustad I have recently begun usinf Togen hooks. They seem to be a strong enough hook with a small easily sqashed barb and the price is pretty good as well.
