February 23, 2011 A great pattern for species including Coho, Chinook, Halibut, Red Snapper, Rock fish, Grouper, Marlin, Tuna and everything else that eats squid! A 6-12 inch long TUBE fly that is on of the best inventions of mine, now used on the west coast by lodges in the Pacific Ocean for salmon behind the flasher, in the prop wash and mooching. The best colors of this fly are this one, black, natural(white) and chartreuse. Tied on a 3/8 of an inch tube that supports up to 300lb line, a great "UNIVERSAL" bait that outfishes bait and is very durable! Tube:3/8 of an inch tubing Thread: BIG FLY or Kevlar rear ball: Polar UV or crystal chenille Flash: Lateral Line, pink and dark blue Tail:4-6 strands of Zonker and cross-cut rabbit strips Body: medium or Large mylar tubing Eyes:Googlie Eyes, large up to 10 millimeter Wings:blue and pink cross-cut rabbit, surrounded by blue or pearl Polar UV tied by WebFlyz.com
