What a day! The weather was goooood most of the day, water waz not bad. fished
from limit hole all the way down. couple of people at limit, long floating with
stationary float, no idea what they were doing. making shooshing sounds at the
end of the drift. nada there obviously, fish were all spoooooked!!! Fished further
down, missed one at ranger with SHORT FLOATING. moving on. then the river god
smilez at me. cedar run, bang, fish on. took me for a gooood ride. wild doe,
8ish#, gently released without glovez on. went back up to top of run, all alone.
dang! drifting down again, bang! float buried! kicks, started going down river.
sweetz! landed, hatch, 10# or so. but i am not there to keep fish, so gently
released again, WITHOUT gloves! keep those gloves off so the slimes are not
scraped off. another half an hour there, nada. kept moving down. did some more
drift just downstream before the river turns, float buried again! fish on! kick
kick... and fish off! dang! gotta hit that area again tomorrow before the weekend
crowd. fish are stacking up in schools. if they're there theyre there. if not,
move on. but that low water is making them stack up at top from ranger to alison
i bet. good luck all! gonna hit a few more with em bags again tomorrow.

I get the hankerin to make a last ditch efforts around Bell acres. Well wouldn't
ya know it, we each landed 2 fish in the last hour, and I lost a BIG one right
off the bat. We came home with 8# and 11# hatch bucks respectively. Sure pays
to stick it out and listen to your instincts. Water was showing a fair bit of
colour, so we were fishing with large pink worms.

Dont expect too much from this creek. It was good back in the days, but urban

upstream to well out of sight of the bridge with no results, and no sight of
any fish. My grandson spoke with an older gentleman walking by that said that
there should be greater numbers in a couple of weeks or so. Bert, you could
be right about them fishing together, or, maybe the same person goes to both
stores. Anyway the only way to catch anything is to keep trying, "the worst
