What a great place to fish!!! Took the whole family for a 3 day mini vacation.
Spent my mornings with this LARGE heron watching me so I decided to follow him
around in my tube, so many trout I lost count. None of them where huge biggest
about 14 in but man was it some fun fishing. I just anchored my tube about 30
ft and cast an adjusta bobber with a #4 bait holder and worm, my arms got sore
from casting so much. This lake has a great resort, with the best of staff and
the cabin we rented was top notch full service power fridge stove etc etc. If
you are here in Kelowna worth the 40 min drive :) Tight Lines

Don, if your boys are under 16 then they do not need a licence; however, if
the fish they were catching were protected (dollies, sturgeon, etc.) they would
have to be released anyway. In the future, grab yourself a copy of the freshwater
and saltwater regulations. You will find useful pages with tips on how to identify
your catch. Give us a better decription and we might be able to help you out.
I stopped at the Cap again today before work. A few fish in the river but they
seemed spooked today (cruising nervously around the pool). Perhaps an otter
was about, but did not see any sign of it myself.

Was on the Cap July 6 afternoon, water level was fishable but clear. Not much
going on up top but I witnessed 6 landed in a 2 hour span in the lower end,
4 by one guy. If water level continues best to fish during high tides so time
it right and you should get hook ups.

our hours...oh well, will visit the area again shortly. CnR as always.

Indian arm is great past the falls if you want to play the 40 plus seals that
are there. When you think about it, people using bait for rivers are less likely
to be flossing or snagging as it requires the fish to actualy bite, if you do
the jerk and reel you lose your bait
